Job Summary
Coordinate physical, social, and emotional aspects of assisted living care in accordance with physician's orders and resident choices. Execute medication management plans, including periodic review and documentation updates, while assessing resident needs and reporting changes to the Healthcare Director. Respond to emergencies timely and calmly, ensuring resident wellness, safety, and proper documentation of interventions. Provide thorough shift reports to the on-coming nursing team and motivate CNAs/RMAs. Maintain high standards for record keeping, assist with meal delivery, and identify risk factors for residents. Work an 8-16 hour flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Current LPN license to practice nursing in the state in which the community is located, holding a license in good standing with the Board of Nursing
- Experience working with the senior population, preferably in assisted living or LTC
- Must be a team player who works well with others and has experience supervising staff
- Must possess critical thinking skills, ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently with strong organizational skills
- Must be in good physical condition and be able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be willing to work an 8-16 hour flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
- Must be certified or willing to take and pass the certification class required by the state in which employed
