Job Summary
Collaborate in patient assessment, documentation, and care plan implementation while administering medications, vaccines, and delegated procedures. Perform vital signs, phlebotomy, wound care, and urinary catheterization, and monitor IV infusions as directed by supervising RNs. Provide pre-attending care, assist with referrals and diagnostic testing, and respond to urgent medical situations in accordance with organizational protocols. Required Illinois LPN licensure, accredited nursing school graduation, and BLS certification. One to two years of ambulatory care experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse Licensure by the State of Illinois
- Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation recognition (healthcare provider level) – American Heart Association Accredited
- Must complete background check authorization and disclosure form
