Job Summary
Implement patient care plans and evaluate outcomes under the supervision of a registered nurse to ensure patient safety and comfort. Educate and communicate directly with patients and their families while providing compassionate, evidence-based behavioral health care. Administer IV therapy as required, utilizing board-approved training and adhering to strict clinical guidelines. Maintain a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00am to 5:00pm with no weekends, holidays, or overnight shifts. Join an integrated team focused on continuous learning and improving community health outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Must have graduated from an accredited school or college of nursing program leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as a RN (or LPN) at another facility
- Requires current licensure as a practical nurse in the state/states of practice
- If IV therapy is required, the incumbent must have completed, upon date of hire or within designated timeframe as determined by the department, a board approved educational program that included intravenous therapy in the curriculum or successfully completed a course in intravenous therapy that was developed according to board guidelines and approved by the board
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in practical nursing is preferred
