Job Summary
LPN Program Coordinator for the School of Nursing at the South College Marietta Campus. The Coordinator reports to the Associate Dean of Nursing and is responsible for supervising all aspects of the Certificate in Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program, including organization, administration, continuous review, planning, compliance, development, implementation, and general effectiveness, including instructor supervision. Responsibilities include teaching in assigned area, collaborating with faculty to improve instruction quality, faculty training and development, and coordination and administration of the academic program to achieve student outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science degree in Nursing
- Unrestricted RN license to practice in GA or in one of the eNLC compact states
- Experience teaching at the post-secondary level
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in academic administration is a plus
- Competency in instructional methodology, curriculum design, and program planning
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with TN State Board of Nursing
