Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a PRN overnight role in long-term care. Provides professional nursing care under supervision, administers medications, contributes to resident assessments and care plans, documents interactions and outcomes, and collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure resident safety and quality care. Requires LPN licensure, completion of an accredited practical nursing program (associate degree preferred), experience or training in IV therapy where required, and ongoing CEU/compliance. Shift is overnight 10:30pm–6:30am; PRN with varying weekly hours; opportunity to pick up shifts. Competitive hourly pay depending on experience ($27.00–$36.00/hour) and benefits package for eligible staff.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
- If position requires IV therapy/management skills, graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
- Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
- Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility.
