Job Summary
LPN – PRN overnight in Long Term Care: provides professional nursing care to residents under supervision, administers medications, documents care, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team. Requires active LPN license, nursing program graduate with associate degree preferred, overnight PRN shifts (10:30pm–6:30am) in a not-for-profit long-term care facility in Battle Lake, MN. Eligible candidates pick up shifts; benefits include standard health and retirement offerings. Must maintain competencies, complete CEUs, and comply with facility policies; IV therapy requirements apply in North Dakota if applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- If position requires IV therapy/management skills, IV therapy course as per ND Board of Nursing or IV Therapy course approved by ND Board of Nursing
- Attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span or have at least 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility
- Maintains required department competencies and certifications; completes annual CEU and competency training
