Job Summary
PRN LPN in a long-term care setting providing professional nursing care to residents under supervision, with overnight shifts (10:30pm–6:30am). Responsibilities include medication administration, resident assessments, documentation of care and outcomes, collaboration with healthcare professionals, and patient/family counseling on prevention and treatment plans. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and current LPN license; associate degree preferred; IV therapy competency per state requirements may apply (ND). Must be able to work in a team, maintain confidentiality, and support care plans across the resident population.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- State LPN license or multi-state licensure privileges
- If in North Dakota IV therapy, required coursework or IV therapy competency as specified
- Experience with long-term care setting and medication administration may be required per facility
- Ability to work overnight PRN shifts
- Ability to work with interdisciplinary care team
