Job Summary
LPN - PRN Overnight in Long Term Care providing professional nursing care to residents under supervision, with responsibilities including medication administration, care planning, resident assessment, documentation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Role emphasizes safety, quality of care, and adherence to care plans in a long-term care setting. Night shift-specific duties include 10:30pm–6:30am coverage with flexible PRN pickups and a focus on resident comfort and well-being.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- LPN license in good standing (unencumbered)
- Minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility (if applicable per role)
- Ability to perform medications/treatments as ordered and to document care
- Possession of or ability to obtain required certifications and CEUs
- Associate degree in practical nursing preferred (not mandatory)
- IV therapy/management skills as required by North Dakota Board of Nursing (if position requires)
