Job Summary
LPN - PRN Overnight position providing professional nursing care in a long-term care setting. Responsible for administering medications/treatments as ordered, conducting resident assessments, documenting care outcomes, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team. Shift is overnight (10:30pm–6:30am); PRN schedule with opportunity to pick up shifts. Requires an active LPN license and completion of required nursing education; per diem hours and experience in long-term care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Must have an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- IV therapy/management skills as required in North Dakota (if applicable) - graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing
- Attends a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span or has at least 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility
- Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility
