Job Summary
LPN - PRN overnight position at Good Samaritan LTC facility in Battle Lake, MN. Provide professional nursing care in long term care under supervision, including medication administration, care planning, resident assessments, and documentation. Ensures resident health, safety, and comfort; collaborates with interdisciplinary team; maintains confidentiality; requires LPN licensure and completion of accredited practical nursing education; able to perform IV therapy if required per ND/NBN guidelines; PRN overnight shifts (10:30pm–6:30am) with varying weekly hours; benefits available for qualifying staff.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Current unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board and/or multistate licensure
- Associate degree in practical nursing preferred
- If position requires IV therapy/management in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program or IV therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing
- Experience: minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility or completed supervised clinical experience across lifespan
- Continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements
