Job Summary
LPN - PRN overnight role in long-term care providing professional nursing care to residents under supervision, including medication administration, treatments, and care planning. Responsibilities include documenting resident interactions, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, maintaining confidentiality, and counseling residents and families. Requires an LPN license and graduation from an accredited practical nursing program; associate degree preferred. Overnight 10:30pm–6:30am shifts; PRN scheduling; location Battle Lake, MN with benefits and potential continuing education requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an Licensed Practical Nurse
- Current unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board and/or multi-state licensure privileges
- Associate degree in practical nursing preferred
- IV therapy/management skills requirement if applicable (North Dakota)
- Minimum 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility or supervised clinical experience across lifespan
- Continuing education units (CEU) and competency training as required
