Job Summary
PRN LPN responsible for providing professional nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting under supervision, including administration of medications and treatments, documentation of resident interactions and outcomes, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. The role supports overnight shifts (10:30pm–6:30am) at Good Samaritan’s Battle Lake LTC facility, with the ability to pick up shifts and maintain resident safety and confidentiality. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, an unencumbered LPN license, and ongoing competency and CEU requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility
