Job Summary
Provide nursing services for assigned individuals and support to direct care staff. Coordinate with physicians/NPs/RNs to implement orders per the State of TN Nurse Practice Act. Collect medical history, assess needs, and assist in examinations and treatments. Transcribe information to chart records, take vital signs and glucose monitoring, monitor for acute distress, and ensure timely documentation. Maintain compassionate patient care, effective communication, and adherence to care plans; flexible part-time hours in a center serving individuals with developmental disabilities. Valid driver’s license and related documentation required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved LPN Nursing Program
- Valid Drivers License
- Social Security Card
- Acceptable 3-year motor vehicle report
- F endorsement on Drivers License, 30days post job off
