LPN (PRN)

Provide licensed professional nursing care to support cardiovascular physicians and other medical staff. Perform triage, documentation, injections, diagnostic support, and coordination of care while maintaining and updating patient records in paper and/or electronic systems. Respond to patient needs in-clinic and by phone, assisting with procedures and patient education. Accurately document vital signs, medications, allergies, and patient concerns to support quality care and risk management. Support physicians during patient visits and follow through on orders including tests, injections, and patient instructions. Collaborate with departments through EMR communications to ensure smooth patient flow. Assist with Coumadin clinics, blood draws, pacemaker/defibrillator checks, and diagnostic procedure explanations. Manage medical forms, insurance pre-certifications, supply ordering, and mandated safety checks. Provide cross-coverage and support to other clinics or departments as needed.
