Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision, administers medications/treatments, documents care outcomes, conducts resident assessments, collaborates with an interdisciplinary care team, and communicates with residents/families. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and an active LPN license; ND IV therapy requirement may apply. Benefits package offered; drug screen and background check required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- If position requires IV therapy/management skills, North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the ND Board of Nursing
- Must have supervised clinical experience or minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN across the lifespan
- Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications; completes required continuing education
