Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) PRN at Avamere Rehabilitation of Burien. Provide direct patient care to residents, implement nursing objectives, supervise CNA activities, prepare/administer medications, review care plans, and coordinate shift services to ensure quality resident care. Duties include completing recordkeeping during admissions/discharges, supervising day-to-day nursing activities, leading nursing staff rounds, and ensuring care aligns with each resident’s care plan. Requires a nursing degree, active LPN license in WA, CPR/BLS certification, English fluency, EMR experience, and knowledge of nursing regulations and procedures. Eligible for comprehensive benefits and continuing education opportunities. Shifts available Day or Eve at on-site Burien, WA facility.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN in this state
- Must have working knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care communities
- Experience with electronic medical records and computer documentation systems
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Must have an active CPR/BLS Certification
