Job Summary

Provide direct patient care including IV therapy under the direction of a registered nurse, utilizing the nursing process for data gathering, planning, and evaluation. Manage assigned duties while assisting ancillary staff and interacting with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality personalized care. Adapt to rapid changes in department needs and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws and accreditation standards. Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, handling physical demands such as lifting up to 100 pounds and exposure to blood or body fluids.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Current licensed practical nursing (LPN) license in state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Self directed
Good judgement
Good interpersonal and delegation skills
Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Ability to lift 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally
Ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently
Ability to lift 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly
