Job Summary
Provide comprehensive nursing services to pediatric patients in home settings, maintaining updated clinical records and consulting with physicians on care plan alterations. Evaluate nursing service effectiveness, educate patients and caregivers on care needs, and mentor new employees during orientations. Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs while adhering to state regulations and confidentiality protocols. Submit required personnel documentation and complete mandatory training as assigned. Travel to patient homes to deliver care, requiring availability on any day of the week for varying shift lengths.
Required Qualifications
- LPN Nursing Degree
- Unencumbered LPN License in the state of employment or Multi-State license through the Enhanced Nurse Licensures Compact where recognized
- Valid driver's license with proof of insurance in applicable states
- Clear background screening
- Working knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts
- Valid and current CPR card/certificate with in-person instructor led hands on skills check
- Clear Hep B Screening in applicable states
- Clear TB Screening in applicable states
- Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds (50) pounds without an assisted lifting device
- The ability to read and communicate in English both verbally and in writing
- Must be available on any day of the week, Sunday through Saturday
- Must be able to travel to patients' homes
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of demonstrated experience preferred
