Job Summary
Provide nursing care in accordance with resident assessments, care plans, and facility policies while administering medications, treatments, enteral feedings, and IV therapies within the LPN scope of practice. Monitor resident conditions, promptly communicate changes to providers, and accurately document all care, treatments, observations, and medication administration. Supervise and support Nursing Assistants to ensure quality resident care, maintain up-to-date care information, and participate in interdisciplinary care planning and quality improvement initiatives. Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards while assisting with admissions, transfers, and other nursing responsibilities as assigned. Full-time and part-time shifts available with weekly or same-day pay options.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate's Degree
- Valid NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
- Current CPR Certification
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of medication administration, infection control, and resident care practices
- Ability to supervise nursing assistants and work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or with the geriatric population
