Job Summary
Document all patient care, collect vital signs and history for well and acute patients, and prepare individuals for surgical procedures, tests, and treatments. Assist the health care provider in determining current and potential patient needs, evaluate supplies and equipment, and complete JCAHO required data elements including domestic violence and pain assessments. Recognize risk factors related to age, sensory perception, and medications while reacting appropriately to patient care emergencies. Requires a current New York State LPN license, BLS certification, and graduation from an accredited nursing program. Located in Glens Falls, New York, with a sign-on bonus available for full and part-time roles.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a Licensed Practical Nursing Program
- Current license and registration to practice Practical Nursing in New York State
- Infection Control
- BLS Certification (can be obtained at time of hire)
