Job Summary
LPN provides complete care for residents in a continuing care retirement community, coordinates care among residents, providers, families, and nursing staff; cross-trained in Skilled Nursing, Personal Care and Wellness; maintains HIPAA and regulatory compliance; administers medications and treatments per State and Federal regulations; conducts nursing rounds, documents in EMR, and communicates with DON and staff; leads education for staff and families about plans of care and engages residents in activities; ensures infection control, evacuation readiness, and quality of care, while upholding patient privacy and safety in a geriatric setting; role includes collaboration with multiple departments and adherence to Beaumont policies.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered, active LPN license in Pennsylvania
- Successful completion of an accredited LPN program
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to make independent decisions and demonstrate leadership and supervisory abilities
- Willingness to comply with safety, compliance, and ethics policies
- CPR certification in good standing as required by state of Pennsylvania
- Maintains nursing license and CPR certification in good standing
