Job Summary
Conduct pediatric patient care by completing the nursing process, administering medications, and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams. Provide physical, educational, and emotional support to patients, families, and friends while supervising assigned staff. Ensure clinical areas are stocked and maintain complete documentation using the computerized medical record system. Requires current New York State LPN licensure, BLS certification, and one year of experience. Monday through Friday shifts from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, with one evening until 8 PM and one Saturday rotation every five to six weeks. Base pay ranges from $26.52 to $32.64.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing or ASN/BSN in Nursing
- Current licensure in State of New York as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)
- LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
