Job Summary
Coordinate patient care for diabetes and endocrine concerns in the Pediatric Endocrinology Clinic, including education, communication with families, and implementation of treatment plans under RN or provider supervision. Manage patient resources to ensure families receive necessary support during outreach clinic visits across the region. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with no weekends or holidays. Maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications while participating in robust on-boarding and training programs designed for continued professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- If position requires IV therapy/management skills, graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing
