Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to pediatric behavioral health patients; administer medications; monitor patient safety and behavior; document patient progress; collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team, implement therapeutic interventions, and support patient and family education.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Licensure: Current New York State LPN license; CPR certification (or ability to obtain/re-certify).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of LPN experience; psychiatric experience required; inpatient experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) strongly preferred
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
