Job Summary
LPN (PCU) part-time nights at Mercy Jefferson in Festus, MO. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision of licensed personnel; coordinating care with other departments; protecting patient rights and confidentiality; serving an intermediate PCU unit with cardiac and acute respiratory patients (no vents) and high-flow oxygen/BiPAP as needed; strong assessment skills and teamwork are required. Qualifications include an accredited Practical Nursing degree, active LPN license (or licensing within 90 days), BLS, and IV certification within 1 year. Fast-paced unit blending ED/ICU aspects with a focus on cardiac/respiratory patients and patient care duties on a night shift with a sign-on bonus for experienced and graduate LPNs.
Required Qualifications
- Practical Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- Current LPN license in state or can be obtained within 90 days
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification via American Heart Association
- IV Certification within 1 year
