Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents in a high-acuity unit and supervise daily nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Administer medications, chart and document care, and ensure adherence to facility policies and procedures. Coordinate with the nursing staff and Director/Nurse Supervisor to plan shifts, quality assurance activities, and discharge planning as needed. Demonstrate leadership to nursing personnel, maintain patient safety, and uphold HIPAA and infection-control standards while delivering comprehensive resident care.
