Job Summary
Part-time overnight Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in long-term care at a not-for-profit facility in Battle Lake, MN. 24 hours per week, 10:30pm–6:30am, includes every other weekend and rotating holidays; additional weekend/overnight shift differentials. Provides professional nursing care for residents under supervision, administers medications or treatments, documents care outcomes, and collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to support residents’ health, comfort, and safety. Requires an accredited practical nursing program graduate with an LPN license; minimum 400 hours of supervised clinical experience or equivalent; CEU requirements and ongoing competency maintenance. Eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a competitive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse license in state (or multi-state licensure)
- Attended pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across lifespan or 400 hours as LPN
- Maintains required competencies and certifications; completes annual CEUs
- Possesses ability to work under supervision within LTC setting; communicates effectively; maintains confidentiality
