Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision, administers medications or treatments as ordered, documents care outcomes, communicates with residents and families, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary care team. Responsibilities include ensuring health, comfort, and safety of residents, adhering to care plans, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting nursing staff. Position is part-time with overnights (10:30pm–6:30am), 24 hours per week, includes every other weekend and rotating holidays, with weekend and overnight shift differentials. Requires an LPN license and associated competencies; IV therapy requirements may apply depending on state specifics. Sign-on bonus of $5,000 offered.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
