Job Summary
Part Time Overnights LPN in Long Term Care: provides professional nursing care for residents under supervision, administers medications and treatments, conducts assessments, documents outcomes, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team. Requires LPN licensure, graduate of an accredited practical nursing program, and preferred associate degree in practical nursing. Position features 24 hours/week, night shift (10:30pm-6:30am) with every-other weekend and rotating holidays, plus weekend/overnight shift differentials and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Location: Good Samaritan facility, Battle Lake, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
- Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility.
