Job Summary
Overnight LPN in Long Term Care providing professional nursing care to residents under supervision, including administering medications, performing testing to evaluate residents’ status, documenting care outcomes, and contributing to care plans. Works with an interdisciplinary team to ensure resident safety and quality of life. Requires graduating from an accredited practical nursing program, holding an LPN license, and having 400+ hours of clinical experience; benefits include shift differentials and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Shifts are 10:30pm–6:30am, with every other weekend and rotating holidays; includes diverse duties across nursing care and resident education.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Unencumbered LPN license
- Minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility or supervised clinical experience across the lifespan
- Ability to perform testing and administer medications as ordered
- Good communication and confidentiality
- Team-oriented with interdisciplinary care
- Overnights shift readiness and weekend/holiday rotation
Desired Qualifications
