Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care for residents in long term care as an LPN under supervision, administer medications and treatments, perform nursing assessments, document care outcomes, communicate with residents, families, and the care team, maintain confidentiality, and support care plans. Demonstrates competency across nursing knowledge and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to ensure resident health, safety, and well-being. Overnight, part-time role with 24 hours/week, every other weekend and rotating holidays, with additional weekend and overnight shift differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program
- Unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board or multi-state licensure privileges
- Associates degree in practical nursing preferred
- IV therapy/management skills (North Dakota requirement if applicable) or IV course approved by ND Board of Nursing
- Completed pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across lifespan or minimum 400 hours of LPN experience at another facility
- Annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements as applicable
