Job Summary
Part-Time Overnights LPN in Long Term Care: Provide professional nursing care to residents under supervision, administer medications and treatments, perform assessments, document resident interactions and outcomes, communicate with interdisciplinary team, educate residents and families about prevention and treatment plans, and maintain confidentiality. Role includes 24 hours per week, 10:30pm–6:30am shifts, every other weekend and rotating holidays, with additional weekend and overnight shift differentials. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and an active LPN license; Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Minimum of supervised clinical experience across the life span or 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility
- CEU and competency training requirements as applicable
- IV therapy/management skills as required in North Dakota (if applicable) and related certifications
