Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a not-for-profit long-term care setting provides professional nursing care under supervision. Responsibilities include administering medications or treatments, assessing residents, documenting interactions and outcomes, supporting an interdisciplinary care team, counseling residents and families, and maintaining confidentiality. Evening, part-time shifts with shift differentials after 6pm and on weekends; 20 hours weekly. Must maintain licensure and complete required CEUs; IV therapy may be required in ND per program. Demonstrates competency and adherence to care plans and nursing principles across resident ages and populations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
- Current unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board or multi-state licensure privileges.
- Ability to perform testing to evaluate data reflective of resident's status and provide care per care plan.
- Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training as required.
- IV therapy/management skills as required for North Dakota location (if applicable).
