Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse provides professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision, including administering medications and treatments, assessing residents, and contributing to care plans. Demonstrates nursing principles across the resident's age and population, documents interactions and outcomes, supports health, comfort and safety, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary care team. Requires strong communication, confidentiality, and ability to educate residents and families on prevention and treatment plans. Evening, part-time shift with differential for after-hours and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Current unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board and/or multistate licensure privileges
- Experience with supervised clinical practice across life span or minimum 400 hours as LPN per facility requirement
- Ability to perform medications or treatments as ordered and document appropriately
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to participate as part of an interdisciplinary care team
