Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision, conducting assessments, administering medications or treatments, documenting outcomes, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include applying nursing principles to the resident’s needs, evaluating data to recognize problems, and responding to emergent situations; ensure resident health, comfort, and safety; communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality; educate residents and families on prevention and treatment plans. Evening, part-time role with shift differentials after 6pm and on weekends; 20 hours per week with benefits for eligible staff.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Possession of an unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board and/or multi-state licensure privileges.
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
- If applicable, IV therapy/management skills per North Dakota requirements (for ND-trained applicants).
- Completed supervised clinical experience across life span or minimum 400 hours of LPN experience at another facility.
