Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse provides professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision, demonstrates competency in nursing knowledge, performs medication administration and treatments as ordered, documents resident interactions and outcomes, communicates with residents and families, contributes to care planning, and participates as a member of an interdisciplinary care team. Evening, part-time role with shift differentials for after 6pm and weekends; supports a not-for-profit, Christian environment. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and an active LPN license; associate degree in practical nursing preferred; CEU/continuing education and competency requirements apply. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. Drug screen and background check required upon offer.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Current unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board and/or multi-state licensure privileges
- Ability to perform testing and administer medications/treatments as ordered
- CEU and competency training requirements
- IV therapy/management skills as applicable (North Dakota specifics referenced but licensed practice required)
