Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Long Term Care, part-time evening shifts, in a not-for-profit Christian environment. Provides professional nursing care for residents under supervision, including medication administration, care planning, assessments, and documentation. Supports an interdisciplinary team, maintains resident confidentiality, and adheres to age/population-specific standards. Requires an active LPN license, completion of an accredited practical nursing program (associate degree preferred), and ongoing competency/certification maintenance. Evening shift with differential pay; 20 hours/week with potential weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
- Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility.
