Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse provides professional nursing care for residents in long term care under supervision, demonstrates nursing principles, performs testing to evaluate resident status, administers medications and treatments, documents resident interactions and outcomes, collaborates with an interdisciplinary care team, and supports resident education and self-care plans. Evening, part-time role with shift differentials after 6pm and on weekends; requires valid LPN license and relevant nursing experience; includes opportunities for ongoing CEU/compliance training and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- State LPN license (unencumbered)
- Associate degree in practical nursing preferred
- Experience or supervised clinical hours across lifespan as part of curriculum or minimum 400 hours as LPN at another facility
- Possession of required department-specific competencies and certifications
- Continuing education requirements (CEUs) and competency training
- IV therapy/management skills (North Dakota requirements if applicable)
