Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed for part-time evening shifts in a long-term care facility. Provides professional nursing care for residents under supervision of RN/APN/physician, performs medication administration and treatments, documents resident interactions, collaborates with an interdisciplinary care team, and supports resident education and prevention plans. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, an active LPN license, potential ND IV-therapy coursework if applicable, and clinical experience across the lifespan. Evening shifts with 8-hour blocks, 20 total weekly hours, and shift differentials after 6pm and on weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- Possesses or completes required CEU and competency training as per department and facility requirements
- Experience: minimum 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility or supervised clinical experience across lifespan as part of pre-licensure program
- IV therapy/management skills as required in North Dakota (AASPN IV therapy as part of curriculum or approved IV course)
