Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part-time evening shifts in a Long Term Care setting. Provides professional nursing care under supervision, administers medications and treatments, performs resident assessments, documents care outcomes, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to support residents' physical and psychosocial needs per care plans. Requires an LPN license and an accredited practical nursing education; evening shift with differential opportunities. 20 hours per week with shift differentials for evenings and weekends. Focus on delivering quality care in a Christian, not-for-profit senior housing and services environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associate degree in practical nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility
