Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing professional nursing care in long-term care under supervision, administering medications and treatments, performing resident assessments, documenting outcomes, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Evening, part-time role (20 hours/week) with shift differentials after 6pm and on weekends; requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and an unencumbered LPN license; Associate degree in practical nursing preferred. Located in Battle Lake, MN with in-person, on-site duties in Long Term Care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or multi-state licensure privileges
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Minimum 400 hours of experience as LPN or supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of pre-licensure program
- Ability to perform testing to evaluate data reflective of resident's status and provide needed care
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary care team and communicate effectively
- Shift differential experience (evening/weekends) preferred
