Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed for part-time evening shifts in Long Term Care. Provides professional nursing care to residents under supervision, administers medications/treatments, documents care, and collaborates with interdisciplinary team. Requires LPN license; Associate degree preferred. Evening shifts qualify for differential pay; 20 hours per week with 8-hour evenings; benefits available for qualifying employees.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Current unencumbered LPN license
- 1) If IV therapy/management is required in ND, completion of appropriate IV therapy coursework or AASPN program with IV therapy in curriculum
- 2) 400 hours of LPN experience or equivalent supervised clinical experience across lifespan
- Possession of multi-state licensure privileges and ability to meet department competencies and CEU requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Associate degree in practical nursing (preferred)
- IV therapy/management skills (ND requirement if applicable)
- 400+ hours of experience as LPN or supervised clinical experience
- State Nursing board licensure and ongoing CEUs
