Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse provides professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision, administering medications and treatments, documenting outcomes, and participating in an interdisciplinary care team. Must demonstrate nursing principles across the resident population, support resident education and self-care, and maintain confidentiality. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and an active LPN license; preferred Associate degree in practical nursing and applicable IV therapy training. Evening, part-time role with shift differentials after 6pm and on weekends; benefits and ongoing CEU/competency requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Current unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board and/or multi-state licensure privileges
- Associate degree in practical nursing preferred
- IV therapy/management skills (ND requirements) if applicable
- 400 hours of supervised clinical experience or equivalent
- Annual continuing education and competency requirements
