Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part-time evening shifts in Long Term Care. Provides professional nursing care under supervision, administers medications, participates in care planning, documents resident interactions, communicates with residents, families, and healthcare team, and supports residents’ psychosocial and physical needs. Evening shift with differential for after-hours and weekends; 20 weekly hours in a not-for-profit long-term care environment with emphasis on quality care in a Christian setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associate degree in practical nursing preferred
- Unencumbered LPN license with state nursing board or multi-state licensure
- Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training
- Experience with administering medications and treatments as per care plan
- Demonstrates ability to work in an interdisciplinary care team
- Ability to communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality
- IV therapy/management skills as applicable in state requirements
