Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. Ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained while supporting the Resident Care Team's mission to enhance quality of life in a serene, Montessori-inspired setting. Maintain licensure in good standing and demonstrate knowledge of nursing practices and long-term care regulations. Work part-time on the second shift with flexible scheduling and access to career growth opportunities within a highly engaged staff environment.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing and currently licensed by the State or in training to satisfactorily complete the requirements to become a LPN
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to read and write in a legible and understandable manner
- Speak and understand English
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws
- Positive attitude toward the elderly
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a nursing capacity
- Knowledge of regulations and guidelines governing long-term care
