Job Summary
Perform patient assessments including vital signs, medication reconciliation, and specimen collection. Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider. Prepare patients for evaluation, document treatment updates in the electronic medical record, and provide education on medications and follow-up care. Assist with referral authorizations, maintain clean exam areas, and perform radiology-related tasks such as assisting with imaging procedures. Supports telehealth services including tele-retinal and tele-dermatology setup. Requires current Virginia LPN licensure, AHA BLS-HCP certification, and proficiency with EMR systems. Full-time day shift from Monday-Friday 8a-5p with a sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Current AHA BLS-HCP certification
- Strong customer service orientation
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and computer systems
- Occasional travel to other clinics for staffing needs
Desired Qualifications
- Limited Radiologic Technician license
