Job Summary
LPN Outpatient - OBGYN Daleville provides practical nursing support in a physician practice/clinic, performing patient assessments (vital signs, chief complaint, medication reconciliation), preparing patients for provider evaluation, administering medications/injections, documenting in EMR, and assisting with referrals/pre-authorizations. Responsibilities include patient education, infection control, exam/treatment area maintenance, basic lab tasks, radiology assistance, and telehealth support (tele-retinal/tele-dermatology) as applicable. Requires Virginia LPN licensure, Limited Radiologic Technician license for radiology tasks, and current BLS; strong communication and patient-service orientation; proficiency with EMR and healthcare teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing OR eligible to sit for Virginia licensure exam; current Virginia LPN license; Limited Radiologic Technician license for radiology roles; AHA BLS-HCP certification
