Job Summary
Direct care of assigned patients as a Licensed Practical Nurse in an Orthopedic Clinic (Adult Spine) under the supervision of a clinician. Responsibilities include using the Nursing Process to gather data, plan and evaluate care, providing patient care tailored to age groups served, maintaining patient confidentiality, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team. Requires current licensure in the state of practice, and BLS certification; preferred dual licensure in MS and LA. Emphasizes organization, time management, delegations, effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues, adaptability to rapid unit changes, and ongoing professional development. Required Qualifications
- Current License in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Preferred - Dual license in Mississippi and Louisiana
