LPN-Ortho-Med/Surg

LPN-Ortho-Med/Surg provides direct inpatient nursing care under physician supervision in an orthopedics/medical-surgical setting. Responsibilities include delivering patient care per the plan of care, consulting with RNs or Respiratory Therapists, performing prescribed therapeutic procedures, observing and reporting patient status, assisting with examinations and procedures, contributing to the patient’s plan of care, supporting patient and family education, documenting interventions and responses, and administering medications (IM, subcutaneous, IV, oral, nebulization, MDI). Requires current LPN licensure, BLS certification within 30 days, ability to work in a high-demand environment, and willingness to work varied shifts including weekends/holidays; annual competency training and facility-specific requirements apply.
