Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse or state-licensed prescriber. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients and coordinate care with other departments while protecting patient rights and confidentiality. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards in the Orthopedics unit at Mercy Hospital South. Full-time day shift coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 36 hours weekly. Current Missouri LPN license, BLS certification, and LPN-IV certification required. Join a collaborative team where your voice matters.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license in Missouri
- Meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association
- LPN-IV Certification
- Ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
